Repair Tent Floor Hole

This is not the only way to repair a tent.

Press the tape effectively to remove the bubbles on the tape. Make sure to press the tape over it so it adheres to the surface firmly. Make the corners of the tape round to keep it from peeling and thus will last longer. Not a big tear but definitely a hole.

If you round the corners of the tape the patch will last longer. Apply the tape on the bottom side as well to ensure that you have double protection over the tear. Add a second line of stitching inch in from the first. Lay your tent on a hard surface and peel off the backing of the tape.

Remove the backing from the tape and attach the tape over the tear on the top section of the tent s floor. On the exterior of the tent start by cleaning the area around the tear with rubbing alcohol and a rag. Allow to dry on a level surface overnight. Apply just enough seam grip wp to cover the hole and spread 1 4 5 mm beyond.
