If we switch to a 3d view we can clearly see the triangulated sloped section of our floor.
Revit how to get an area of a floor.
To do so just click on the green tick on the ribbon menu.
First of all open the programme revit and then click on the volume and area on the left hand side if in case its not there then right click in the gray bar and then various attributes appear choose from here.
You can see in the image below that i have sectioned off a rectangular area of the floor.
Make sure only analysis elements are visible tagged.
If you do so revit will reject the new sketch with errors.
