Revit Slab Edge Sloped Floor

I ve created my own slab edge and i am now trying to join geometry so that the slab and the slab edge appear to be one piece.

When placing a slab edge in section place the cursor near the corners of the floor to highlight the reference. But when i put a section in and set the detail level to fine so that the finish floor level appeared as well as the structural level it still appeared to be seperate from the slab. However the ends might require a tidy up but you can use slab edges on the ends of the sloped slab to clean up. If we switch to a 3d view we can clearly see the triangulated sloped section of our floor.

You can then select this line when placing the slab edge rather than the slab itself. To finish the current slab edge click modify place slab edge tab placement panel restart slab edge. Slab edge on sloped slab if you add the slab edge to the flat slab before you slope it it will adjust when you add a slope arrow. Key points you can use shape editing tools to manipulate the surfaces of your floor elements.

If the slab edge segments meet at corners they miter. This could be say a walk in shower in the corner of a wet room. As you click edges revit treats this as one continuous slab edge. Which i thought i had done.

The edges will follow the slope. If you are using the slab shape editing tools or you do not want to flatten the slab you can draw a model line along the sloped slab edge. Does anybody know if it is possible to join a slab edge to. If you using the shape editing tool to slope the slab you can draw a model line along the sloped slab edge and you can select that line when placing the slab edge.

But now revit will only triangulate the area inside the split line boundary.
